New Horizons for InspiringWear 

For months now I have been playing with the idea of InspiringWear teaming up and sporting the REACH project.

I heard of if about 6 months ago, after getting back in touch with a dear friend, a long lost adoptive brother of my sisters and I, Ibrahim Nyambi Our family lost touch with him in 1995/1996 when we all moved from Bulgaria to different parts of the globe.

We had been looking for Ibrahim for a while and have heard about him from Cameroonians we've met but we hadn't managed to get in touch with him until recently thanks to Google and his involvment in REACH.

So, we sealed the intention on the 20th of March, during a phone conversation and InspiringWear committed to support REACH by giving it its profits. (For how long? Well....for now...until we make a difference! Will keep you posted.)
YES! InspiringWear will give the profits from the sale of our InspiringWear Tees to REACH. How exciting is this!!!

Now we require more help than ever, practical as well as "spreading the word".

What is REACH

• Refuge for the African Child (REACH), is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO)
• It is dedicated to aiding and protecting children, their basic rights
• Was established in the Northwest Province of Cameroon, West Africa, in 2000
• Everyone involved in REACH is a local, educated person who knows the particular demands and challenges of the area, and is personally affected and motivated by everything archived

Main areas of focus

• Preventing Child Trafficking and Exploitation
• Protection of Children
• Empowerment of Women

Why we choose REACH

We have supported and continue to support many causes, financially and by dedicating time. We sponsor children trough World Vision, donate to charities, do community service etc, etc, but why is it we want to dedicate our InspiringWear profits to REACH?

• It is a small NGO thus it is very easy to track where the money was spent and see the results for ourselves
• We personally know the coordinator of the project and trust the money will be used very wisely as he is a very honest, trustworthy, incorruptible, educated, dedicated (the list goes on and on) human being.
• We believe Empowered women and Educated children are the key to changing the African continent, and thus the world for the better
• One of our share-holders lived 4 years in Africa and received his high-school education there. Most of his siblings, as well as parents spent a few years in different countries on the African continent including Cameroon
• REACH needs our help (as they don't have much external help at all) and have very urgent needs of basic stuff, such as PCs, to run this important operation
• We live in the West; money here is much more abundant and easy to come by than it is in Africa. This is a fact! We MUST help!

The information there is not complete as again they rely heavily on a western volunteer to maintain and update the site. However, it is there so do have a look.

So, here my friends....a new chapter has begun.Please spread the word and get yourself our InspiringWear Tee-shirts.

InspiringWear website has had some issues so you cannot see or order our products from there yet, but...you can view them on the blog and we will process your orders the old fashioned way...by e-mail. Payment can be done by PayPal.

Easy right? The important part is, together we can and we will make a difference in the lives of many!

Have been working on the Website for hours now and do hope something will be available for you to soon be able to purchase your Tees....Even if at first it is something extremely simple! Well....fingers crossed!

They are showing some of the available colors in the different designs and in Youth as well as in Man styles. They are 17 and 18 so the largest Youth Tee fits them... 5 of the styles are Youth and Children and 6 are Men styles.

It has been such an important weekend! One I have been waiting for quite a while and we were now ready to make it a reality! InspiringWear has, now, (hopefully!) a permanent position in the Central Aotea Square Market in Auckland, NZ. Here are some historical pictures for you to partake of this event. About 30 minutes ago I called our web-designer to make an appointment so we can finish the website and take it live in a few days....

I have been telling the world "Real soon we will have a shop-front where you can purchase our InspiringWear..." since December...

Well.....I got a cold shower...yet another delay is inevitable!

We have to start again. Yes, again! A new!....Paul got an unexpected change in circumstances and can not continue with the site!

....life just happens doesn't it? Once again the virtues of flexibility and patience aught to be displayed.

                            Hurray! A dream come true!

Here are some picture of our first children wear. I have been looking forward to this for sooooo long but didn't seam to find the right Tees...

The fit is loose and there are several colors in each design. The sizes could vary as the kids vary from country to country and my estimation of age is for large children rather than small ones.

                    Yes, it is a very exciting day here at InspiringWear!!!

Our second lot of Tees is out and literally still hot from the press!

The results are awesome and I am so happy that the many months of creation, design work, careful selection of materia prima (the actual Tees we use) and patience has given such marvelous fruits! I can not choose what one to wear, honestly! 

We now have out of the 5 new designs 

• 15 new models/styles for Children and Youth Tees
• 15 new models/ styles for Ladies + the 9 already existing ones making a total of 24 styles of Ladies Tees
• 6 new   models/styles for Man + 10 already existing ones making total of 16 styles of Man's Tees

All that is left now is for more people to enjoy, wear and share our designs and vision. Please, help us with that! Share InspiringWear with your friends and may this idea prosper and spread!

I am hoping that the website will be functional and running rather soon. The structure seams to be completed and my hope is that by the beginning of May it should be fully functional. The meeting with our gifted designer Paul is to be held in the next couple of days and fingers crossed....you can get your InspiringWear on line real soon!

The plans are that in a week or two you will be able to see the Tees on more of our fantastic models.

I know! It has been somewhat a long time since I last wrote here.... Well....life just happens and at times there are other "matters" one has to attend to I wouldn't say life spun me I would rather say "I was spinning Life" doing things that equired my attention more than my blog...It happens you know ...But here I am again. Last week and the week before were extremely exciting.
Paul (our graphic designer) and I put 4 new designs together and polished an existing one.
This has given me such a lift and I can't wait for them to be printed!
The challenge is to find Tees we like with interesting colors and styles that complement the designs. That might look like an easy task but it is quite a challenge, believe.
