Rounding up the Facebook bit...

I know! It has been somewhat a long time since I last wrote here....

Well....life just happens and at times there are other "matters" one has to attend to I wouldn't say life spun me I would rather say "I was spinning Life", doing things that required my attention more than my blog...It happens you know

...But here I am again. Whole, happy, fulfilled and inspired, grateful to you all who are part of my life in a quiet or in a more loudish sort of a way

This Social Media Mega Project has been a very interesting and enriching experience and thanks to all the participant and of course, Vivien from InspirationBit, our Organizer, I think it was and it is a success.

Why a success?

These are 8 things (going to name 8 in honor of Vivien as she loves this number!) I know made it a personal success for all the participants and us hosts:

  • WE  all learned something about hosting a Group Writing project (most of us for the first time!) and surely will be able to share the lessons we've learned with each other and with the world
  • WE all learned important things about the Social Media Sites we didn't know before
  • WE were each able to apply some of the things we learned on our own account or from the other participants
  • WE all increased our network of people
  • WE all welcomed new visitors (some of whom have become friends) to our Blogs who otherwise might have never been attracted to us
  • WE all got the opportunity to form a new working relationship with people we might have never been able to meet in any other way
  • WE all learned something of how to communicate with folks from all over the world whilst focusing on a specific common goal without even knowing each other in person
  • I personally had to opportunity to hear and learn about and of Social Media sites I might have never even bothered to visit. (How come? Well... PCs and I have got an intimate relationship going on but I still prefer spending more time with real people or doing something physically challenging then sit in front of my LapTop surfing the net )

Furthermore, I'd like to thank from the bottom of my heart all of you people out there who contributed generously with your thoughts, time, articles and intention to this project.

Thank you all who submitted your invaluable articles to us here at InspiringWear and to all the other participants and hosts.

This has been something Totally new and Totally different for me and I personally learned so much from you all!

Please, visit and learn from all the articles our friends submitted to us here at InspiringWear:

Inspired by what I learned from Vivien's Interview I went and installed BlogFlog to my Facebook and found another 2 friends of mine who have that application. One of them

On the other hand, I was reading the latest issue of "Oprah Magazine" and there was an article on Facebook as well You'veBeenPoked! by By Liesl Schillinger

It is soooo growing (the whole Social Media thing!).

I think our need for Intimacy as humans is driving us to the Social Media Sites and we are learning about Intimacy on line. Hopefully this one will assist us and give us courage to start practicing Intimacy in real life. This is the key

(Now, let me clarify, by Intimacy I mean establishing meaningful human relationships where one feels free to share thoughts, feelings, emotions and other stuff only humans are capable of! Very few of us are skillful at doing that in life (I believe) and most of our disappointments come mostly from confusing true Intimacy with being physical with someone... I've gone astray here from the topic somewhat so...)

Thank you all and see you here again soon!

Thanks for pointing to my internetseeker blog! I'm happy if it is was useful to you (and other readers).

Your post was also interesting, and the links are good, though i would recommend people avoid about 90% of the apps they receive an invitation for in Facebook.

Yes, the articles are very interesting and your one is great too. The perfect addition for a beginner  I agree, most of these application just clog your facebook and your time. No offense to my friends but I avoid them too
